I was commissioned to photograph all twelve Football Clubs for the production of a VFL Calendar.

On this particular September day, the sun was shining, affording perfect photographic conditions. One of the biggest problems or limiting factors is the unpredictability of prevailing weather conditions.

As a freelance TV 16mm film cameraman, I was employed for ten years, every weekend, including eight Grand Finals, as HSV-7’s sole “on-ground, close-up, slow motion” film cameraman.
